Bikes on CATS Buses and LYNX Train for FREE
The Charlotte Area Transportation System is allowing anyone traveling with a bicycle on CATS Buses and the LYNX Train for free, April 29 - May 5, during BIKE! Charlotte. Using the bicycle, in combination with a CATS Bus or the LYNX Train, is an efficient, inexpensive, and environmentally friendly way to travel in the Queen City. For information, including a video on how to load your bike on the bus, visit the Rack and Ride program on the CATS website. For information on how to load your bike on the LYNX Train, you can visit the Rack and Ride section of the LYNX website.
Kids Bicycle Safety and Educational Rodeo p/b Piedmont Natural Gas
The Charlotte Health Department is teaming up with the Giordana-Clif Bar BRICA Cycling Team and Piedmont Natural Gas to host an exciting Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeo! Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeos are designed to educate children of all ages about bicycle safety. Bikes for children ages 7 to 12 are provided at the event. A limited supply of FREE helmets will be given to kids who participate in the rodeos. Not recommend for kids on training wheels.

Show and Go Booty Loop Ride
We will gather for a "show and go" ride that will take you around the beautiful, tree-lined Booty
Loop in historic Meyers Park. The Booty Loop is a well known 3 mile cycling and running friendly route in the heart of the QueenCity. All level riders are welcome!

Roadside/Trailside Repair Clinic
Learn how to fix a flat and make basic roadside and trailside adjustments to your bike, in case of a mishap on your ride! We'll teach you the basics that every cyclist should know, in order to keep you rolling, so that you can make it home safely from your ride.
